  • Partners and associates are very generous down the pub.

  • Associate dinners are excellent. These are in the client dining rooms and the food is superb with unlimited wine. £5 free in the canteen is pretty good as the canteen is already subsidised.

  • Amazing Christmas party, subsidised canteen and cash towards the canteen.

  • Client dinners, completion dinners, staff drinks, karaoke.

  • Think it's fairly normal in the City but a free dinner and cab ride home when working late is much appreciated. We also have good department Christmas parties and a fairly extravagant firm-wide Christmas party (which is a lot of fun).

  • Sporadic room lunches, £5 per week at the canteen.

  • £5 on your canteen card every week, opportunity to buy Albert Hall box tickets.

  • The firm offers all employees two free holiday days on top of the annual entitlement of 25 days to be taken at Christmas and New Year. It has also awarded every employee a free day of holiday to be taken any time during the Olympics.

  • We get £5 per week to spend in the canteen, which doesn't sound like much but goes quite a long way.

  • Best perk is probably the cabs home after 9.

  • Free dinners.

  • Pension contributions; £5 free per week to spend in the canteen; two further ex gratia days in addition to 25 days holiday per year.

  • Away day events, regular social events.

  • We don't have many perks but when entertaining clients we get to go to nice restaurants.

  • Overall package is superior to any particular perk.

  • The perks are in line with other firms (i.e. Cabs, meals, etc.).

  • Cheap tickets for a box at the Royal Albert Hall!

  • Departmental and firm-wide Christmas party.

    Helpful?
  • Lots of social events where the food/drink is free (we have a tab). The Christmas party is a really good night, always in a top quality hotel in London and no expense is spared.

  • We don't get anything too wacky that I can think of. We get £5 a week towards food at the canteen (whoop whoop), subsidised gym membership, spare sports tickets if they’re not being used for client entertainment (Twickenham, Emirates, Wembley, Oval, etc.). Free chocolate bars, crisps, soft drinks, etc. After 6pm (not sure that's a good thing!), Free dinner after 7pm, and free taxis home after 9pm. We are also allowed to use our BlackBerries as our personal phones without having to reimburse the firm (within reason), which I think is fairly generous.

  • Not great for perks. Tickets for sporting events do come up though at a cost. We do get standard provisions such as dinner when staying late and cabs home.

  • Free tickets to sporting events are great.

  • We get two extra days' holiday – one at Easter, one at Christmas.
