I would say that the firm is wholly committed to diversity, especially at a trainee level, working with charities such as Employability and SEO to increase participation. There could be higher numbers of people of African Caribbean origin in the associate and partner ranks in the London office.First year traineeHelpful?
Very supportive – lots of partners and senior associates work hours to accommodate children and we have a LGBT network.Second year traineeHelpful?
There is still room for improvement on retention of trainees.Second year traineeHelpful?
Ethnic minorities are well represented; persons with disabilities are recruited regularly, as are more mature candidates. Part-time arrangements and maternity leave are all available and encouraged. On the LGBT issue, no matter how inclusive the policy, the larger City culture doesn't allow much space for LGBT individuals to come out.Second year traineeHelpful?
There is truly a diverse mix of cultures and sexes at the firm. There are a lot of female partners and the firm generally has a real multi-cultural feel about it. I recently had a child and was told to take paternity leave whenever I needed it, regardless of the deals that were happening. They were very accommodating!First year traineeHelpful?
Lots of good female role models at the firm. You feel people get where they are on merit. It's an international firm, so the lawyers there reflect that.First year traineeHelpful?

The firm prides itself on this. It actively supports diversity programmes, including a women's network, access to education and helping minorities pursue careers in law.First year traineeHelpful?
The firm is very big on diversity. We often have to fill out questionnaires detailing our ethnic background, religion, etc. As part of the firm's ongoing monitoring.Newly qualified solicitor, LitigationHelpful?
