I really enjoy my role, I get to work with some of Enterprise Rent-A-Car's highest profile customers and also play a part in winning new business. I manage the whole Enterprise Rent-A-Car relationship with six customers and I am tasked with improving customer service, seeking efficiencies for our customers and acting as the point of liaison between Enterprise Rent-A-Car and the customer. The team I work in shares ideas and expertise as we look to develop new products and ideas for our customers. Being responsible for so many high profile contracts, having worked for Enterprise Rent-A-Car for less than seven years, feels like a real accomplishment. I am not sure that I would have achieved that working for another company.
Strategic Account ManagerHelpful?I am responsible for the running of 7 branches, 40 staff and a business of around 800 cars and turnover of £6 million. I meet with many directors, high level execs at insurance companies, and Joe Blogs from local garages, the nature of my work is overseeing the performance of my branches, the training and development of my employees, and growing the business. Customer satisfaction, employee development, fleet growth and operational profit are the 4 key areas of our business. The job is intensely rewarding, frustrating, and hard work and long hours. But, the rewards financially are there if you have the work ethic to succeed and be the best.
Area ManagerHelpful?Since I started at the company I have always been given ownership of my business. That is still true today – I can make decisions and provide solutions to my customers to meet my department’s goals. I have complete control over my role and department, regularly interacting with customers and providing them with solutions.
Remarketing ManagerHelpful?My job challenges me on a daily basis as I have to balance my time carefully between employee development, ensuring we maintain strong internal controls, as well as timely and accurate financial statements and making sure my team is providing support as business partners to our Daily Rental Operations. My team act as advisors to the Daily Rental Operations to help them move their business forward by maintaining control of their costs, whilst driving their revenue and fleet and constantly delivering excellent customer service. As you can imagine all this keeps me on my toes and engaged in the business!

Helpful?As Implementation Manager, I usually get involved with our customers towards the end of the sales process, once they have shown interest in setting up a new account with Enterprise. I then project manage the full process to get them set up and renting vehicles. This usually involves dealing with all levels and departments within Enterprise, from IT, Billing/MI Teams, rental branches to Account Managers and General Managers. From an external perspective, I help develop the process so that it meets all of the customer's bespoke requirements, as well as assist them in their internal communication and training of new systems. The role is varied, working across all business areas and as each project is different and has individual challenges, it's never boring!
UK Implementation ManagerHelpful?The autonomy to take decisions that relate to my department, and the ability to contribute strategically to the overall direction of the fleet plan, and hence the group, is extremely satisfying.
Vehicle Acquisitions ManagerHelpful?I am completely satisfied with my role, my job responsibilities and the part I play in our overall business strategy and success. I find my role both rewarding and challenging, no two days are the same and I love the level of initiative and ownership that I have within my role. My ideas are taken seriously and strategies are tested and used, there is no level of bureaucracy which restricts any suggestions or ways of developing a more effective business. All of the above means I am very satisfied with the career Enterprise has afforded me. I have progressed through the company to my current position and the company has supported my development each step of the way to the position I am in now. The company is currently supporting me in completing my Masters in Human Resource management. I couldn’t ask for more.
HR ManagerHelpful?My position is excellent, very varied as it involves meeting and chatting to potential recruits daily, lots of time on campus at universities selling our brand, and is fun.

Vehicle Repair ManagerHelpful?I have to admit I love working at Enterprise. Having been in many roles from Management Trainee through to Sales, each one is rewarding in their own way. I have been in the Sales Team for 6 years, running it for 4 of those. I oversee a team of regional field sales managers and get to very much shape their careers. This part of my role is arguably the best part. Promoting and working with fantastic people makes coming to work more enjoyable. My role is to work with customers wishing to have a business account with Enterprise or who have an existing account that needs expanding. This means I get to meet a great variety of people all across my region. In the latter years in this role I have concentrated on larger corporate companies and public sector. Finding opportunities to help streamline their business and save them money whilst overseeing the provision of fantastic customer service is incredibly rewarding. I get to be out and about meeting new and existing customers, run training classes for our employees and get to watch my department grow. I am also a member of the UK Diversity, Career and Family Focus Group. We meet up in London every quarter to discuss how to make Enterprise a better place to work in, and work with.
Group Sales ManagerHelpful?I enjoy my work on a day to day basis due to its varied nature. I am responsible for all aspects of the business from hiring and firing, training, sales, HR management, fleet management and managing a sales force. The diversity of the role means that every day and every week provides a different challenge to tackle.
Area ManagerHelpful?In my current role I have been given the responsibility for growing five strategic partnerships with larger clients. This role is very varied which I love and is never boring. It includes managing four teams of employees, sales, and account management. My role is customer facing day to day and I really enjoy that. I am the face of Enterprise to the client and need to take responsibility for any of our successes or failures in their eyes. I also have an opportunity to be creative and have free reign to expand this role as I see fit to achieve my goals.
