• The firm aims to take on 100% of trainees and usually will try to find a place for you if your applications for your choices were unsuccessful. Although I think that my options will be competitive, I think I have a good chance of staying.

• Naturally apprehensive but there are very few people who aren't offered jobs on qualification - it just depends on whether there is a job available in the seat that I would like to apply to! (The same seats are always competitive for qualification).

• There seem to be plenty of jobs - the only question being whether there will always be jobs in the departments I want to be in.
