  • The firm has just restarted a committee to look into further measures we could take. We do some recycling of paper and in the kitchens.

  • There has been a recent drive to make this even better with a new campaign and team behind it with lots of great ideas. And it is open to everyone.

  • We have recycling bins in the kitchens for plastic cups and more. The restaurant has recycling options. We have notices on all our printed documents to encourage us to think before printing.

  • The computers automatically switch off at midnight (unless they are in use!), The lights switch off after a certain period of inactivity, the conference centre is only heated or cooled when in use. There are recycling bins everywhere. All documents are produced double sided as standard. There are hot water taps in the kitchens to prevent kettles being used and wasting power.

  • Law firms use a lot of paper but we recycle everything (confidential and non).

  • The firm recycles lots of paper. Lights and computers turn off automatically if not used after a certain time.

  • We have recycling bags in every room and larger recycling bins around every floor. Our computers turn off onto a hibernation setting automatically if left on for a certain amount of time.

  • We've had our carbon footprint measured and we have an eco champion in each team who brings all our sustainability efforts to the attention of that team. We recycle actively.

  • Building is carbon neutral and there is a large emphasis on recycling.

  • The firm has advanced the online filing systems to reduce paper filing. The default printer setting is double sided and the lights turn out automatically after a few minutes if there is no one in an office.
